modiwell r1808 rv toilet 180 swivel tight layout corner fit

180° Rotating Toilet Upper Part(Space-Saving)

The premium upper part of the toilet body rotates 90° to either side (180° total) to seamlessly align with narrow aisles, corners, and irregular niches, allowing users to customize their seating angle and maximize legroom in tight quarters. This flexible design allows for effortless test-fitting before securing the four-point mount—provided clearance is reserved for lid opening, drawer access, and wiring—while also rotating freely to eliminate cleaning dead zones. It is the ultimate space-saving sanitation solution for wet baths in Class B RVs, campervan conversions, tiny homes, and remote cabins.

Electrical & Safety

Engineered for ultimate power security, the system seamlessly supports direct 12V/24V RV power integration within a strict safe operating range of DC 9V–30V, requiring the standard dedicated R1808 charger if direct wiring is unavailable. To comprehensively safeguard the toilet's advanced circuitry against abnormal electrical spikes, it features heavy-duty dual over-current protection with combined internal and external fuses, alongside smart power monitoring for instant fault and low-battery alerts, and an intelligent auto-charging logic that manages the internal backup battery to safely prevent overcharging.

IPX4 Certified Splash Protection

Engineered with an IPX4 splash-resistant rating when fully closed, the R1808 offers a reliable barrier against daily splashes and accidental water exposure. While this protective shielding safeguards the electronics during routine maintenance and nearby cleaning, the unit is not intended for active wet baths or direct shower spray. To ensure lasting performance, we recommend operating the toilet in a dry, well-ventilated space.

FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

What are the voltage requirements for the power cord connection environment of the R1808?

The R1808 comes with a dedicated charger that can be directly plugged into 110V / 220V AC household power. If AC power is not available (110V/220V), the exposed power cable of the R1808 can be connected directly to a 12V or 24V DC RV power system, following the correct polarity:

  • Red wire = Positive (+)
  • Black wire = Negative (–)

Thanks to its IPX4 certification, the R1808 is splash-resistant. When the toilet lid is closed, it can be safely used in humid or damp environments.

How do I connect the R1808 RV toilet power cord?

Connect the red wire of the cable to the positive terminal of the RV or external power supply, and the black wire to the negative terminal. Ensure proper insulation and waterproofing treatments are performed.

If a power cord connection is not possible, can it be connected via a charger?

We can include a dedicated charger as a standard feature with the R1808 RV toilet, allowing for charging via a charger connection (suitable for non-RV use scenarios).

What suitable scenarios are included?
  • RV installations and road trips
  • Off-grid camping setups
  • Tiny homes or mobile living spaces
  • Marine or boat environments with DC power supply
  • Bathrooms with limited moisture exposure (when lid is closed)
R1808 Installation Guide

Since the R1808 is top-heavy, we recommend a fixed installation for safety and stability. If fixed installation is not possible, please make sure the toilet remains stable during use to prevent movement, tipping, or shifting.

If you previously used a composting toilet, what should be prepared before installing the R1808?

Please ensure there is sufficient installation space. The dimensions of the R1808 are:

  • With the lid closed: 44.2 × 36.6 × 48.2 cm (D × W × H)
  • With the lid open: 44.2 × 36.6 × 87.4 cm (D × W × H)

Before installation, make sure the floor is level. If there are any openings or cut-outs in the floor, you can use an L-shaped bracket or other suitable tools to cover and seal the opening to ensure a stable installation.

How many sealed used bags can the bottom waste bowl hold?

We recommend placing no more than 3 used bags in the bottom compartment. If more than 3 bags are stored, it may cause blockage at the bottom, which can affect normal sealing and operation of the unit.

How long does it take to fully charge the battery, and how long can it be used per charge?

It usually takes about 2–3 hours to fully charge the battery. When fully charged, the toilet can be used in a power-off state for approximately 100 sealing cycles.
